I woke up one morning to find a mother, father and child Tawny Frogmouth owl family on my balcony. Living in a rainforest wild animals are common to see like koalas, snakes, platypus and many other amazing fauna. But to see an entire family of an endangered species of own was just breathtaking.
After watching
it was amazing i sat there for literraly 2 hours until it was dark that afternoon about 3m away from them and gradually got closer as they got more comfortable with me being there. i ended up about 1m away from them with a flat camera battery
it was amazing though watching their behaviour
the young child was always inquisitive and playful and the mother always getting angry at it for moving about when they are supposed to stay camouflaged
I would have loved to see them myself. Where I live, you don't usually spot animals at all. And if you do, it's mostly hedgehogs, squirrels or just insects.

well we dont have hedgehogs OR squirrels here, so seeing those would be as amazing for me as you seeing these owls
